What to Expect
Students work closely with members of the Artist Circle to collaborate on all things Preludia.
Weekly Chamber Rehearsals
Every student ensemble receives a 90-minute weekly coaching session, with coaches on a rotation; allowing the members to experience different focuses and styles while discovering their own.
Weekly Evening Finale Rehearsals
Harmony Finales are large ensemble performances that happen at the end of every Harmony performance.
Every student attends a 120-minute group rehearsal (a rehearsal as a large ensemble with everyone in the Harmony Ensemble), a valuable opportunity to collaborate and connect with everyone else in Harmony's close-knit community.

Recital Performances
At the end of each season, students perform at formal recitals to showcase their hard work and development as a group. Each ensemble showcases 1-2 works, proceeded by the Harmony finale.

Public Speaking
Every student gets the opportunity to speak at every recital to build public speaking and leadership skills, which are just as valuable in the music world as in everyday life.

Informal Performance Opportunities
Once or twice a season, students get to participate in an "SES Session" (short for small ensemble session), a casual but valuable opportunity where student ensembles perform for an audience of fellow Harmony musicians. Usually taking place during Finale Rehearsals, students give each other feedback alongside members of the Artist Circle, creating a chance to practice performing together and giving each other knowledgable feedback --- all in an informal setting.
