Apply with the link below
NOTE: Requirements have been updated
Applicants may be invited to the Artist Circle by approval from the Board of Directors.
Applying students must be rising into grades 6-10 before the start of the 2023-24 school year and play at least one of the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, or piano. Students must have at least 2 years of private instruction for the instrument they are applying with.
Application and program tuition are free.
ALL APPLICANTS are automatically accepted once the application form is properly submitted. Our program is non-competitive, and we take all students as long as there is a promise of commitment (attending rehearsals to the best of ability) and a willingness to contribute to the Harmony community (putting best effort into group/individual improvement).
1) Students apply by filling out a Google form including their instrumentation, age, grade, and school.
2) Students audition for their specific instruments by sending in an audition recording, either by 1) entering an unlisted Youtube video in the Application Form, or 2) sending the video to Harmony's email, harmonyensemblecba@gmail.com. Look below for video requirements.
3) We will match students with others in trio or quartet form. To have the best combinations possible, age, ability, and instrumentation will be considered.
Students may be able to request certain ensemble formats, but results can not be guaranteed.
Each small ensemble shall be provided with the following:
-
A location for rehearsal sessions
-
Pieces [varies by ability, instrumentation, etc]
-
